iPhone/iPad "Prepub" page on Logos.com
To reduce inquiries, and satisfy those of us who are desirous to know, could something similar to the Prepublications page be developed for Logos.com to show resources for which work is planned or in progress to make the resource available for use on iPhone and iPad? And whne possible, just like prepublications, provide a availability date?

That works for products that are not available in Logos at all yet.
I'm suggesting the idea for resources that rare available for Logos 4 on Windows and MacIntosh, but not using the iPhone/iPad application.

It's just a question of the copyright holders agreeing to allow the
resources to go to the iPhone. Since it's not up to Logos, how could they have an availability date? Also, there's not any significant work involved to make it available (from what I seen), so
it's not like there are resources in the queue being prepped for the iPhone.If there are any public domain resources missing from the iPhone that you know of, then they should be noted here, because they probably somehow got overlooked.

I thought there was more to it than a publisher's "OK".
Since there's no development, then I you're correct.
If we want stuff that isn't there, pressure the publisher.

Well, there probably is from a technical point of view.
When the iOS app was first released it could only read a recompiled version of the books. However, now the iOS has the same display engine that the desktop software does. However, I don't know if there are still some things that need the converted book format, I imagine there is (i.e. Biblia)
With all that said, I don't think Logos is going to be willing to publish the queue of books that will be coming to the iOS because of how frustrated customers can get with delays.

Granted he's not a Logos employee, but I'm assuming he's got that info from somewhere that I've missed, and I find him to be reliable.
Also, the turn-around time on getting overlooked public domain resources into the iPhone is very short as demonstrated by my experience in this thread:

So that supports Mark's assertions about the formats being automatically converted for iPhone.
