Biblical places problem

I'm trying to use the "Biblical World" map in Biblical Places. I cannot get the zoom function to work. Meaning when I hover my mouse over a city and the cursor symbol changes from the hand figure to the pointing finger and I click the mouse the only that happens is the map selection at the bottom of the screen changes to the selection for that city.
Please advise - thanks.

Use your scroll wheel on your mouse.

Or if you don't have a scroll wheel on your mouse, use Ctrl+/Ctrl- (Cmd+/Cmd- on Mac).
