AFAT: All Imperatives in OT

After wandering through the WIKI looking very closely at all discussions about creating a Visual Filter coupled a with Highlighting exercise, I've either discovered that this is impossible in the AFAT (Hebrew language edition) or I'm missing something.

I can create a Visual Filter that adequately shows all imperative verbs from Genesis to Malachi in AFAT.They show up rather nicely and colorful. They all show the appropriate 2nd person whether singular or plural.

What I would like to do now is to make a list of the results within a search for that particular highlighting. From the WIKI I conclude that I can only do this in English, but not with all English Bibles. I don't want English; I actually want to read the Hebrew text.

I'm willing to scrap the highlighting idea providing there is a solution to create a search result of all imperative verbs from Genesis to Malachi in Hebrew and have them all show up in one place (search window).

I'm using 4.2 SR2 (4.20.4.8828).

thanX!!

    Hi Charles

I'm probably missing something you are trying to do but does this work.

    Search for imperatives below

Once you have completed the search use "Save as Passage List" to produce a list of results

    which results in:

Does this give you what you are looking for or am I missing something?

    Graham's instructions should be good.

Remember that a Visual Filter is just a saved search that you can customize the highlights for rather than the temporary highlight a search provides.

EDIT: Alternatively you could Print/Export the search rather than going through a passage list, it just depends on how you want to use the list.

YAY! What I wasn't doing was the SaveAsPassageList to keep it!

OK, folks, On my next time around asking a question that a Passage List is necessary perhaps I may just learn to use that first!! heh heh ...

Thank you very much, Graham! It's the simple things that work best!!

    God bless
