Delay in Highlighting
It's taking about 4-5 seconds between hitting ctrl-k and the highlighting being applied to the resource (NICNT Matthew). I don't have any downloading or indexing going on right now to explain the slowness. I hope the speed is improved, it's interfering with getting through my studying.

Pam,
I just tried highlight in NICNT, Matthew 24, I looked for Parousia, and search and highlight (Ctrl+K) and I do the reverse to search and erase (Ctrl+Shift+K), it is almost instantenous ... did not feel any lag. I just did a few highlighting, not sure what effect will be if you do thousands of highlighting like I do in L3.
Sorry, I am on L4B9

Thanks for the feedback, JK. Maybe I should blame Windows Vista. [8o|]

I'm still having the delay in highlighting that I had in the beta period. It's gotten worse - now it's up to 20 seconds! The same thing happens when I erase a highlight. Does anyone else have this problem?

Hi Pam,
Could you get a log file for us to see if it provides any clues to the delay? To turn on logging, hold the Ctrl key down and double-click the Logos 4 shortcut, keeping it held down until the Sign in window appears. Then click Sign in button. This will enable logging for just that session. When Logos opens, open the NIC and try highlighting and erasing highlighting. Please post the resulting log file, which will be in \Documents\Logos Log Files.
Thanks,
