Open a large note of clippings file. Grab the scroll bar and scroll up or down a ways. On my desktop system it takes about 3 seconds for it to catch up. On my HP Slate, significantly longer. Scrolling through books is not anywhere near that painful. You must be doing something painfuly inefficient with notes and clippings.
