I've never had the need to so I've never paid attention for the answer to this question. Is it possible to One install instance of L4 for multiple Win 7 user accounts to save resources?
My understanding is that some have used a stable release on one Win 7 user account while running a beta on another user account. I have not done this but it would require two installations of L4. If you are talking about having L4 on the drvie one time and then having it available for multiple users on the same computer I would think that would violate the EULA unless each user has purchased their own Logos package. In that case it seems to me that would work, you would just have to initiate the L4 log in screen at startup and the user would have to sign in under their account.
Hi Philip,
If you're talking about multiple user accounts with a single Logos account, as best I recollect, the answer was yes, but...
Hope this helps.
Philip, I think it would be a problem to have 2 installations of Logos on 2 user accounts and directing Logos to use resources from one folder (drive). I used to have 2 installations on 2 user accounts but in that case it was one regular version and the other one Beta, so it was one more reason not to use the same resources. It worked fine in that constellation.
I would be surprised if it would work in the way you are speaking about. Let us know if you found the way. There are some situations it might be helpful, like I have one notebook in the office with 2 accounts. One for office work, the other one for the Projector. I would like to have Logos in both accounts.

Logos' model with L4 is one instance per user account unlike L3 where one instance was installed to Program Files for all users (the 'user' in each case could be the same person). So the answer is 'No'.
Technically you can use junction points to create a common resource folder but the operation of the individual user instances would create problems that Logos will not support!
