Need Help with Taking out the scripture nimbers?

Hello...I am trying to find a way to erase the numbers that are next to each scriture. I am starting a bible study on Ephesians, using the NIV bible version and I want my students to look at the text as it was written...in letter form. Does anyone have any idea on how to do this??? I called Logs and the person I talked to said they didn't know how. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you and God Bless

To turn off footnotes: Select Visual Filters and check: Bible text only:

To turn off verse numbers and chapter numbers.... well you can't, not in the screen.

HOWEVER you can to to TOOLS>COPY BIBLE VERSES, and select a format (like quotations) which does not include chapter and verse numbers and export the text via copy and paste.

Thomas showed you how to do this in Logos4. Below you will be shown how to do this in Logos3/Libronix. If any of the pictures below appear too small, click on the picture and your browser will zoom into that picture (you may need to hit the Back button to return to these instructions).

Viewing your Bible in Text Only mode

1. Click in the Bible version window to make it the active window.

2. In the menu bar, click on View.

3. In the drop down menu click on Bible Text Only.

Copying Bible Text only to a word processor

1. In the notification area, click on the Copy Bible Verse icon tool.

2. Logos3 will open the Copy Bible Verse window, enter your passage range.

3. Click on the Style for showing plain text (if you don't have one then click on Custom and follow steps 4-7)

Steps 4 - 7 show creating a custom style

4. Logos3 will open the custom style selector window. If you want to create a New style, click on New. Otherwise click on your style on the left, then click on Modify button.

5. Logos3 will open the style editor window. Click on Copy Bible text only. Then select One paragraph per Passage.

6. Click on the OK button to close the editor.

7. Click on Close to the style selector window. Now in the Copy Bible Verse window on the Style (from step 3) you may need to select the style that you just created/edited.

8. Now you can Copy your Bible selection to the clipboard by clicking Copy. Or you can click the Copy and Paste button to copy your selection to your word processor that you have selected in Target (you may want to open your word processor before clicking this button).
