Word 2003, loss of insert functionality, please help?

please help. I have the Logos 4, and have enjoyed using the smart tags...but there seems to be an unanticipated 'price' to pay I seem to have lost functionality in Word 2003, even when Logos 4 is NOT running...the loss is this: I could copy/paste over blocked text, but now no longer can do that. I have to manually delete it and then copy/paste into the blank space, not with Logos verses or citations, but ANY of my Word work!
Can anyone help me with this apparent bug?
Thanks, and God bless you,
Troy

This has nothing to do with Logos. It sounds like you've accidentally toggled Insert mode in Word. Just press the Insert key again and you'll be back to the way it used to be.

No, I've tried that before, and, just to be safe, tried what you suggest again, did not work.
finally, followed this command string in Word 2003: with a document open, click Tools-->Options-->Edit [a tab at the top], check the box that reads "Typing replaces selection", click "OK".
strange, because I did not change that, but found out what to do nonetheless...hope it helps others.
and thanks for attempting to answer the question, you may yet be correct in stating that it is NOT a Logos 4 bug.
