More CP books?

With so many Cp books graduating from Cp, does logos plan to keep a certain number of books in Cp? Are there going to be more books added soon to replace those that have graduated?

Oh you of little faith! It wasn't so long ago that there were only about 6 titles in total in CP, and all of them but one graduated. We are blessed right now with 67!

Or maybe I should have said "Oh you with too much faith!" Maybe you think it's going to be a piece of cake, but it might take another year or two to get all of those through to production. So I don't think we're going to be down to 6 or fewer again for a very long time. I doubt Logos will add so many at once ever again. That was a one time thing where they moved all the public domain books that had been languishing in pre-pub over to CP (several dozen of them). Now I expect we'll only see new titles arrive in CP one or two at a time, with long gaps between. It's just as well, for me. I have not been able to keep up with getting to know all the new books that have been arriving in my library, what with CP's, pre-pubs, and the Christmas sale.

Black Friday wiped my budget out.. But knowing how slowly (in certain cases) some of these tittles are moving. I see no problem adding more... I think they should be unlimited like pre-pub, of course there are many top notch public domain titles that we all want so that is not probable.... I use my books for research not necessarily to read them all the way through, so I personally, I am not so much worried about keeping up with the new tittles (although I attempt to) but building my library..

You are correct I should be content, 6 to 67 is a big difference we are blessed. Thanks logos for your upgrade on CP[:D]

CP is not limited to some arbitrary max. And pre-pub is not unlimited. They are both limited by human resources and by what's potentially out there that could be published. It simply so happens that pre-pub currently has 297 titles in it and CP only has 67.

I really wish they would move the Patrologia to CP! Then I could afford it, which I can't really see happening right now...

And feel free to move the Dictionary of the Targumim as well... And Newman...
