Logos 4 is outstanding the little that I know. Is there anyone in the Maryland area that wouldn't mind giving a crash mini course on the logos 4 so I can get the best out of the software.
Pastor in distress.
Well, I wish I were still in MD, but I'm in NJ now. I used to live in the Waldorf area. Unfortunately I don't know anyone down there who could help you.
I would suggest viewing the available tutorial videos before you panic:
The Logos produced ones are short: http://www.logos.com/videos
For more depth, I would highly recommend you view Mark Barnes's videos here (you can probably skip the Logos videos if you watch these):http://www.4-14.org.uk/logos/tutorial-videos (also linked to from the wiki: http://wiki.logos.com/)
It's as good as having Mark in your office showing you what's what.
Maybe the best min-course you can take is with the videos Mark Barnes, one of the forum MVPs has made. They are excellent, and basically start at the beginning and lead you up to more advanced issues.
You can find them listed with links to them here: http://wiki.logos.com/ They are listed as the tutorial videos #1-14. They aren't too long and are well done.
You can find other videos and help on the wiki: http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Video_Tutorials and http://wiki.logos.com/Table_of_Contents__
While these may take a little while to work through, in case you can't find a friend in Maryland to help you, they will get you started.
There are short videos which can give you a crash course. The ones below are considered very helpful, done by a fellow user Mark Barnes
New users please watch these videos
EDIT: these are found on the Logos wiki page http://wiki.logos.com/ which is pointed out by the above posts.
I would help, what little I can.
I've connected with Logos users while talking via telephone and at the same time viewing their logos screen....that seems to help a lot.
If you'd like to do that once or twice, I'd be willing....just email me
I am in Poolesville, Montgomery County, MD. I'm not the power user/scholar these guys are but let me know if you watch the videos here and have questions.

The main thing is: don't panic! It's daunting at first, but I've never done a computer course in my life and I picked it up quite easily. The Help section I don't find very helpful, but the videos are good and the friends on the forums are fantastic [:D]
Why are you Laughing Out Loud (LOL) if you are in distress?
I hope that's a good sign that you are taking this all in stride and are not really all that troubled. I will second the recommendation for Mark Barnes's video series. He gives great explanations.
I too highly reccomend Mark Barnes series. You may also want to check out www.learnlogos.com
