    Mitchell, welcome to the forum.

I checked the Libronix support articles at Logos.com and this one sounds like it might be your problem http://www.logos.com/support/article/911 . If not, here are some things to try for a full uninstall/reinstall http://www.logos.com/ArticleViewer/316

Check that the external HDD has the same drive letter as your Libronix shortcut (right click & select Properties to see the target path). If your operating system is XP, Vista or Win 7 you can change the drive letter to match the shortcut.

    Hello,

I believe I have a similar problem, but the only difference is, I don't have a CD/DVD drive on this new small notebook. So all my prior 3.0D + Resources are on my other laptop. I sync'd my licenses often, until it crashed...

Can I "online sync" my Libronix files onto this new (non CD drive) notebook without major problems? Or will I have to purchase newer, more compatible resources all over again?

Am I asking too much? LoL    :0)

Libronix resources and user files will not sync over the internet.

However, assuming you have a USB thumb/portable drive, you can copy your license files, resources, and user files (notes, verse lists, etc.) from one to the other and it should work just fine. Resources could also be downloaded from the Logos web site, but you would still need to copy your licenses via a thumb drive (or something similar). You do not need to repurchase.

Logos 4 will sync your Libronix resources to your new system, if you sync your Libronix licenses with the Logos server (your Libronix user files would still need to be imported manually, unless you installed Logos4 on your laptop and imported there.).

As Rich said, no you cannot synch them as in Logos 4. You can install Logos 3 and synch your licenses so that your computer will know you are entitled to all the resources you previously had, but you have to load your resources directly. If you can have an externally attached Hard Drive or CD drive you can load your resources from that (assuming you still have your original installation CDs). If you don't have your CDs you might give Logos a call and see if they have a set they can sell you (it will not cost much).

The other option is to download all the resource files from the Logos ftp site. Of course, you need to have a list of what resources you own to do this.

Logos 4 makes all this so much easier!

    Richard & Dave,

I thank you a million... One FINAL question... I have 6 Product installations, cannot find the disks to 2 of them. Only the 4 online downloads work. Even though sync'd & licensed/activated, have I lost them forever? ... cause they surely aren't loading on the new notebook!

Is there a way the Logos server can send me "replacement" links (.lbxlls) to the ones i cannot restore?

If you know the file names you can find download links for most things on ftp://ftp.logos.com/LbxBooks/
