I have over 5800 individual "invalid reference" warning entries in my Logos4Indexer.log, which I find very concerning:
I was expecting up to1000, but almost 6k seems high.. especiallw when I look deeper..
O'Brien, P. T. (1999). The letter to the Ephesians. The Pillar New Testament commentary. Grand Rapids, Mich.: W.B. Eerdmans Publishing Co.
There are 4 entries in the log, but that equates to 32 invalid references in this book alone.. sadly this book, it is not unique in its frequency of bad links..
LogosResourceIndexer Ignored 22 invalid references for 'bible' in LLS:29.54.15 (out of 8559 total; 0%).
LogosResourceIndexer Ignored 6 invalid references for 'af' in LLS:29.54.15 (out of 18 total; 33%).
LogosResourceIndexer Ignored 3 invalid references for 'mishnah' in LLS:29.54.15 (out of 12 total; 25%).
LogosResourceIndexer Ignored 1 invalid reference for 'louw' in LLS:29.54.15 (out of 81 total; 1%).
How about this one: only 5488 on this title alone:
Nestle, E., & McReynolds, P. R. (1997). Nestle Aland 26th Edition Greek New Testament with McReynolds English Interlinear. Oak Harbor: Logos Research Systems, Inc.
LogosResourceIndexer Ignored 5488 invalid references for 'lls-morph+el' in LLS:1.0.312 (out of 138020 total; 3%).
some of these are
new resources to me when I upgraded to Logos 4, but surely each
of these invalid references should have been corrected in the initial QA
process or when the .logos4 file was generated!! just my 2c on issue, I enclose my log in case it is helpful
There's also silly stuff which should have been fixed like:
Can't load article 'erod's Palace' referenced by 'popup.pos=erod's Palace|res=LLS:29.1.1|type=jump'; ignoring.
Again should have been fixed in QA process
