SUGG: Automatic Patching

I schedule my updates to download at 1am, but they then sit waiting on me installing them when I arise in morning...

Was thinking, perhaps we could get an OPTION for Logos4 to auto install/patch books when it finishes download., I would say Program too, but just incase its a lemon have changed my mind, but resources shouldnt be an issue, and for most folk, books would then be reindexed before  they rose again to study and pray in the morning... just a thought

The patching occurs as part of the download so that the patched resources are then waiting to be installed & indexed. It seems sensible to have an option for indexing to occur after the completion of a scheduled download.

Did you leave Logos 4 running overnight? If you close the main application, the indexer should wait until the download window, download the updates, then install and discover the new resources. It won't discover resources if the application is still running. (Please let me know if you had closed the application, but it was still prompting you to install resources the next morning.)

Well, I'll admit that it's not obvious that closing the app will make a difference.

Some resources require a restart to install correctly; in order to not restart Logos 4 unexpectedly, the indexer simply prompts you and waits for it to be closed. If you close it ahead of time, it will automatically discover and index the new resources.
