Look Up Word

If I put my finger on a word (like in a commentary) up pops a box and it says it is looking the word up, and always it ends up saying no information available.  I was hoping for a dictionary look up like Merriam Webster or something similar.  Am I doing something wrong?  Why does it always say no information available?  I am on wi-fi and connected.  I have Merriam Webster downloaded.
