installing logos 4 download
struggling
went to orders downloaded for mac tried twice it opens then just gets blocked up , cant get it to download orders ,keeps quitting , then wont open, then wont close, it just gets to a point where it downloads a very basic part of my resources , then dosent seem to goany further , tried moving it to trash and downloaded again and it did the same , just seems to clog up

Observation: reinstalling Logos 4 Mac typically only needed if application is corrupt - often issue in user library files - would like to see log files, Wiki has steps for compressing and posting logs => http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#How_to_Report_Bugs_in_Logos_4_Mac
Also log files can be open while Logos 4 Mac is running - can see if something happening - a blue icon in menu bar shows Logos 4 Indexer is running (can watch Indexer.log) - initial indexing can take many hours (computer busy - processing and disk transfers).

logos 4 mac opens then sometimes closes unexpectedly and went to link to see what to do to get the rest down loaded , but nothing happens when i type anything in command bar ,its just a basic page , i cant tell which instructions to apply as i dont what the problem is , its just do,sent do anything apart from open to a page with no resources hardly in it ,wont update , then just closes without asking

cannot see any index item in the tool bar running its seems as if its just stuck,unless the blue index icon is hidden somewhere

its seems to open , now icons in toolbar showing indexing , no resources hardly ,,just closes down unexpectedly, wont go to home page , i had a few choices to download from on orders and i just choose the link of the latest upgrade to plantinium grade ,have i done something wrong

Apologies - likewise struggling with description - not know how to replicate.
Suggest restarting Mac - watch for Blue icon in menu bar - after Blue icon goes away - open Logos 4 Mac - if application suddenly closes, please follow steps to compress and post log files => http://wiki.logos.com/Mac_Troubleshooting#How_to_Report_Bugs_in_Logos_4_Mac

Observation: indexing is resource intensive and can take hours - while indexing happening, search lacks usability and application will be sluggish at best.

My order history has same line item - clicked on order # - clicked on Logos4Mac.dmg - downloaded current stable release.
My order history also has "Upgrade Scholar's Library: Platinum (LE) to Scholar's Library: Platinum (KF)" - added NIV 2011 to Library - used Logos Upgrade web page => http://www.logos.com/upgrade to place free order.

Looking at my Logos order history had two links for current stable Logos 4 Mac download (version 4.0b SR-4 4.10.4.9457) - one was $ 0.00 package upgrade from LE to KF (added NIV 2011 bible resource that crashed version 4.0b SR-2 indexing; fixed in version 4.0b SR-4).
Logos 4 Mac version 4.0b SR-4 was released few days ago (Tuesday January 18) - from initial posting, assumed application download done after 4.0b SR-4 release.

Keep Smilin' For Jesus was just pointing you at a free upgrade available to all owners of LE collections. By your earlier post, I gather that you upgraded to Platinum LE. Users who go to the Logos.com site, add the free KF collection upgrade to their cart and then check out will get a few additional resources, including the NIV2011. I think he just wanted you to know about it if your upgrading your software right now.
As to how to install the upgrade, if you're connected to the internet, the new resources in the upgrade will automatically download to your machine after you log in. You normally don't have to do anything other than open the software. If you don't have "Automatically download updates" set to "Yes" in your Program Settings, you may have to type "Update Resources" in the command bar and press Enter.
If you have any other questions, you can always contact Customer Service during our normal business hours.

i had already upgraded it , its just after downloading it ,if i download it from that link they ask for credit card details to be given for the free down load , so i was,nt sure about why i would going through credit card detailsfor s free down load if its free as i purchased it a while ago , doenloading from orders dosent ask for credit card details , it lokks like i will have to ring them as its just blocked up
