Speed of search results list population

Tried a Bible search for 'love' - returns 745 hits in 652 verses - actual search takes 0.07 seconds, but it takes 12 seconds (with the little spinning twirly-whirly thing turning and an empty search results window) for the actual search results to appear.  Just to play devils advocate I searched for a word that will appear a lot "God".  Results were 4693 results in 4050 verses...  actual search takes 0.23 seconds but it took 16 seconds before the search results appeared.

I use search extensively and find the time taken to populate the search results list (apart from the inability to increase the font-size -- it's really, really small on my 17" Macbook Pro) really irritating.  

Please can the developers look at improving this (fairly foundational) part of Logos -- searching the Bible is a primary function of Logos.  

Also, any word on when we will be able to resize the search results, text-comparison, etc windows will be greatly appreciated.  Waiting patiently is one thing, but it's easier to wait when we know such basic features are being paid attention.  I hear people claiming "parity with Windows" -- but I still cannot change the font size of search results...

Historical observation: displaying search results used to take much longer to render.

Dreaming of Logos 4 search results to be like revamped Logos web site for displaying a smallish subset of search results at a time.  Suspect Logos web developers choose 15, 30, 45, or 60 results per page for rendering speed.  Perhaps Logos 4 could add Search pagination preference: 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 with default of 15 (like initial web page setting).  Possibly could have lower priority threads complete result set while user interacting with 1st page so later result page jumps would be fast.  Another pagination result idea - one screen at a time - number of results displayed fits in one screen - use scroll bar for result page navigation (with page number pop-up when dragging scroll bar button)

Syntax Search has Query drop down on right side; perhaps add Show on right side for all types of Searches.  Bible search results has reference paging at bottom of results.  Could add forum style paging header (top right) and footer (bottom left) for all search results  (could keep Bible quick jump at bottom or morph to Biblical genre - click on Poetry for first page with Poetic results).

Like option to type page number or choose from drop down list or choose via scroll bar for quick jump in result set.  For Bible results, drop down list could have 1st verse reference beside page number - much faster way to jump.  Icons could be used for First, Prev, Next, and Last; optionally could show some page numbers between Prev and Next (could vary based on panel width)

If Show had 15, then estimate first page of love results displayed in 0.28 seconds (2.3 % of 652 verse results).  From human perspective, being able to interact with some search results in less than a second would be fantastic - able to keep short term memory focus (without frustration).

By the way, a search for word finds lots more results. God's word has lots of words (more extreme search is the).
