BUG: Performance issue with journals

It's been suggested I post a link to this thread:
    http://community.logos.com/forums/t/29006.aspx
discussing many-second delays in loading and highlighting journals from the Theological Journal Library #13.

It does seem to be a bug, as:

  1. a) Logos4.exe uses 100% of one CPU thread for 13 seconds when I apply a highlight (during which time the window is unresponsive.)
  2. b) A couple of other users have confirmed the issue.

TIA

Thanks for posting this, Allen. I am also experiencing some delays when navigating JETS vol 51 and 52 - though the delays are about 7 seconds for me on my 2007 IBM Thinkpad (2-core CPU @ 2.0 GHz and 4 GB RAM).  The files for these volumes at the Galaxie Software FTP site are dated May 2010; I don't know if those files will be any better.
