Kindle books/Logos?

I can't be the only one who's wondered about this. Any way to access Kindle books or other ebooks from within the Logos program? I'd love to be able to search ALL of my electronic library . . .

Hi Angela, welcome. You are correct that you are not the only one who has wondered about this. Several discussions have popped up about the Kindle. Here is one to get you started: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/5094/40037.aspx#40037
Edit: I personally don't own a Kindle, but another brand. One suggestion has been to export from Logos into .PDF and read the book from your Kindle in PDF format. Although you will not have nearly the functionality.

Rick,
Angela was asking about reading Kindle books in Logos, not the other way around. That's not possible either, I'm afraid. At some point Logos is going to allow us to create our own resources (it's called Personal Book Builder, or PBB), but we don't really know when that's going to happen. Neither do I know whether you can get books out of the Kindle (I suspect you can't).

I've been able to read my Logos books on my iPad (and I read my Kindle books there with the Kindle app), but yes, I was wondering if I could buy an ebook and put it in my Logos program so that it will be searchable, etc. THAT would be wonderful, if the technology is available. Sure seems like it should be feasible . . .

Sadly, it's a question of rights, not technology. Until Kindle allow exporting, it won't be possible (and even if they do, we'll still have to wait for Logos' PBB feature).
