Bug: 4.2a Beta 5: Blank context menu when right-click slightly to right of a word
If you right-click slightly to the right of a word (less than halfway between that word and the next, but not on the first word) it is possible to get this situation with a completely blank popup menu:
This should never happen. Pick whichever word the mouse is closest to and assume that's the one the user right-clicked on. If I'm slightly to the right of halfway between the words, it picks the second of the two, so that should work on the left side of the midpoint too. And if you click right on the midpoint, pick arbitrarily. That's better than a blank popup menu.
EDIT: I have also gotten this situation when right-clicking directly on a one-letter word (in this case it was a typo 'm' instead of 'in' and I'd marked it with a note to remind myself to report the typo when I was back online [which I was when I got this blank popup; I was trying to report the typo]; I'm not sure whether that detail is significant).
