Logos 4 crashing often

Can anyone advise me if there is something going on with Logos 4? About two weeks ago my computers began running very slowly and Logos 4 crashes often. This began with a very slow opening process of the program and the indexing function seemed to come on often and remain running for hours. This is a new laptop with 4G ram with plenty of hard disk room. The laptop is equipped with a Intel i3 processor running windows 7 64bit platform.
My desktop could not run Logos 4 after this weekend and I had to remove it because the entire system was running very slowly as Logos 4 indexed. Pausing the indexing function seemed to improve overall performance but I could not open any of my library resources. This is an older machine but it had always run Logos fine until about two weeks ago.
Any suggestions? Logos 4 has been a considerable expense and I hope it is just some setting that I've overlooked that is at the root of these problems.

Bill, welcome to the forums.
Sorry to hear you are having problems with Logos. The most recent wide-spread problem with Logos has been some Reverse Interlinear corruption that required deleting, re-downloading and re-indexing those files. This issue frequently resulted in persistent indexing and crashes. However, that isn't a guarantee that is your problem.
To find out we need you to Enable Logging, capture a crash and then Upload the Logs to the forum. Then someone can look at them and advise you how to proceed. Or, you could call Tech support.
EDIT: Also, once the problem is fixed on the laptop you can use the process here: http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers to restore Logos to your desktop without the long download time.
