Religious and Theological Abstracts
Will some of the scholars (Professors and/or seminary students) explain to me how this tool can benefit my studies?If my limited understanding is correct, this will prove a valuable tool in conjunction with:

There's a thread about it here which explains how useful it would be. See in particular my posts here and here. Yes, it will provide abstracts of all the articles in the Theological Journal Library and JBL, with the exception of:
(I came up with this list by comparing the list from Dominick Sela's helpful post with the list of what journals are in RTA in my longer post linked above.)
The Review of Biblical Literature is a resource of abstracts itself anyway, so no, the RTA does not abstract those issues.
It remains to be seen whether the search capabilities Logos provides with it will be as powerful as the search capabilities on the rtabstracts.org website, but presumably if they do the tagging right they'll be able to do it.

It's quite a good deal, being that it's a perpetual license for what normally costs about that much each year. I'm surprised more people haven't picked it up yet. Maybe they're not convinced by the marketing material about it. I think the product description page needs to be more explicit about what is included.
