Bug: Patching and Scheduling for LGNTI:SBL

This saga started a little while ago. When I found that update did not work I hid SBL again and then decided to unhide it with the confirmation that the 2011-01-18T21:26:00Z version had the fix:-

  • changed the scheduled time to 1 hour ahead (6pm - 7pm)
  • restarted L4
  • typed Update Now before I got confirmation of a download at 6pm
  • I let the computer go to sleep
  • awoke computer at 6.02pm and a 20.9 MB download started. 
  • opened and closed L4
  • came back to computer about 7pm & got this log

8233.Logos4IndexerNoUpdate.log

  • it had downloaded the 2011-01-17T18:03:30Z version
  • Update Now produced nothing
  • changed Auto Download to NO and issued Update Resources
  • got notice of a 9.7 MB download  and clicked OK
  • icon in Taskbar is saying (at 7.06pm) that downloading will begin at 6pm

1033.Logos4IndexerWaiting.log

  • Input a scheduled time of 7pm - 9pm and downloading and indexing began for the 2011-01-18T21:26:00Z version

Questions:

  • why did the new version not download after unhiding?
  • why did the Indexer still think I was scheduling - waiting until 6pm the next day!)?
