Had an idea and am wondering if other Logos users would think this worthwhile...
If Logos had a way to track a user star-rating for a given resource (either "In General" or as a "Passage Specific" rating) would this be useful or not worth the effort/necessary user buy-in.
For example, if I had Dallas Willard's "The Divine Conspiracy" in my library (don't know - don't think this one actually exists) I could rate it "Generally" as 4/5 stars (this could be a rating category seperate from my personal one - or perhaps the same as) and/or... I could rate the book 4/5 stars (or a specific chapter perhaps) for study of the Beatitudes (by highlighting a pericope heading or specific verses, clicking on the resource and rating it)... My rating would then be shared with Logos and added to a general book or passage/book rating file that Logos would keep track of...
so that... when I'm stuyding a passage I could do a "look up" for resoures for that passage - but - instead of seeing a list of owned resources (what I now get), I could also "opt" to see a list of rated resources by other Logos users. One could show other's ratings of resources I currently own ... and, if I wanted, ratings of resources not owned that might prove helpful.
I was just thinking something like this could communally help one target purchases for specific areas of study or... generally for that matter.
