I've got a 1.7 GB update downloading here in the cafeteria of the hospital. My system says it's a 54MBps connection (and I'm almost under the wireless router)

Thanks for the log; we'll investigate (although I think it might be a Beta 8 bug that was fixed in RC1).
Thanks for reporting this; it should be fixed in RC2. (It's a bug that only occurs if two updates are released in quick succession.)
