Removing the cantillation marks

It would be great if one, with the single click of the mouse, could remove all the cantillation marks from the BHS (and better yet, the vowels as well). For certain papers I need the unmarked text. Recently these cantillation marks have also wreaked havoc on any copying and pasting.

If you have AFAT it doesn't have cantillation marks. To remove cantillation marks from BHS Westminster 4.2 start at the end of the word and backspace using the arrow key. When you get past the consonant, use the regular backspace key to remove it. If you want to remove the vowel point as well then do it again. Unfortunately there is no way to "remove all." I don't have problems with copying and pasting, but if it's something that gets sent in email then the cantillations need to be removed.

I was searching and replacing each of the marks (in a 50+ page doc)... it works but takes way too long. I'm not sure why but just this last week each time I copy and paste from Logos the Heb words look fine in Word, Open office, and Internet Explorer but when I try to print or create flashcards with iflipr each cantillation mark (and/or vowel!?) is off by one spot. I guess I'll just copy from AFAT from now on and save as a PDF before printing.

Not to play THAT card but I know some of the other Bible programs have the option of removing vowels and/or cantillation marks. It's not a big deal but it's a nice feature if you want to practice reading the unpointed text.

Here is what I found: AFAT DID appear correct on iflipr (since it doesn't contain the cantillation marks), however, I continued to have trouble with the way the text appeared when I printed it. After trying a billion different fonts and ways of copying and pasting I asked for help... I found the copying and pasting to iflipr worked fine when I used firefox as opposed to Internest Explorer. I could not reproduce the printing problem = need to update my printer drivers.

Problem solved!
