LOGOS4 (Windows) Stops Running on Start-Up

Help! I purchased and loaded the Scholar package and I can't get LOGOS to run. After the initial load at the end of December, I was able to use LOGOS without any problems. But for the past two weeks, each time I attampt to start it, I get a "LOGOS4 Has stopped working..." notice (see the attached jpg).
One point to consider with this. I loaded the LOGOS platform and library to an external HDD. This was necessary because my wife and I share the same PC and there's limited on-board HDD space. (And yes - the external HDD is connected and accessible when I click the LOGOS4 icon).
Configuration:
HP Pavilion dv6
Vista Home Premium, SP2
WD External Hard Drive
I was hoping LOGOS4 would be a valuable asset in my efforts at Fuller Theological. As it is, it has become a time-drain in my efforts to troubleshoot it.
Any help is appreciated,
Robert

Your best bet may be to contact tech support at the time and 800 number found on the Logos web site.
But if you want help from us fellow users, please follow the instructions for enabling diagnostic logging and post all your logs, crash reports, etc. here.

This adds to the issue in two ways: 1) installing to an external HDD (or any drive other than C) is a non-standard installation and increases the variables that may need to be addressed; 2) a shortage of available internal HDD space is also an issue that can cause problems. To clean up some space on your internal HDD, you may want to try a little program called CCleaner (get it from CNet - just search for it in your favorite search engine) - just beware that by default it clears out all your cookies, you may not want to do that.
As I said above, we may be able to help, depending on what the logs show (if anything decipherable to us), otherwise tech support may be your best option.
Sorry this is happening to you.
(BTW, I notice on your screen shot that there are some updates waiting in your tray. You've applied those by now, right?)
