My Conscience is Bothering Me

Has anyone come across this glitch? When I do a search for the word "conscience" in my King James bible, it only returns results in the New Testament, and there should be results in the OT, but none are returned. My search settings are "All bible text" in "Old and New Testament" in KJV. I can do a test search with other words that show up properly with OT results with the same search settings.
I have restarted Logos, and I still get the same results. I have sporadically received the same problem with other words.
Am I missing something?

Hi David,
I get the same results in both L4 and L3. I'm not very familiar with the King James, but does the word "conscience" actually appear in the KJV O.T.? Just asking.[:D]
Blessings,
Bob

As far as I can tell the word simply does not appear in the OT of the KJV. Its first appearance is John 8:9

Oops!!![:$] It looks like operator error. Not in Logos, but Wordsearch. I did a comparison search and got results.... but not the results I had thought. It was from more than the KJV.
Sometimes simple questions correct mistakes.
Thank you, so much.

I checked my antique paper copy of Young's Analytical Concordance to the Bible which indexes every word in the KJV. Its first entry in John 8:9.
That book was the first Bible study tool I bought as a young teenager. I have had it for well over 50 years. Time flies when you are study God's Word.

Now you've done it. This thread is going to turn into one those with a bunch of meaningless posts intended to do nothing but try to get people to laugh and pad their post count. Geez I hope that does not happen.
Oops, I think I just did that[:P]

Why can't I think up catchy strap-lines? [:S]
Interesting that conscience doesn't appear until John's Gospel. You learn something new in Logos every day! [:)]

I just preached a message on being pure in heart (Matthew 5:8) and discovered during my study for that message that being spiritually pure often carries the implication cleansing one's soul as well as conscience. This was something that was implied in the OT as well.
What a wonderful thing it is to know that I can have a clear conscience while padding my post count at the same time[;)][6]

I would never do such a thing! Now, my conscience is bothering me. Oh well, it may have been false witness, but since it was not false witness against my neighbor, I should be OK. [8-|]

OK, before anyone posts a link to Ephesians 4:25, I repent. [H]
