View highlighted sections only?

Once I've read and marked up a resource with highlights, is there a way to view only the sections of the book that I've highlighted as a "quick recap" of the book? Thanks.

except searching in highlighting: there is none that I know of

I would think if this was possible it would prove a useful asset

No, but you can move from highlighting to highlighting within the resource. Click on the small arrow next to "article" and select highlighting. Then use the arrows to navigate quickly through your highlighting.

    Well-done, Philip!

Thanks for the tips. The 'next highlight' is a helpful alternative. Keep me posted if you come up with any other suggestions.

You can also do a search in that resource for highlighted text using the wildcard character (*), and select instead of "All Text" the particular highlighing style or styles that you want to find. But a search for wildcard by itself (especially in combination with highlighting styles) is not really supported by Logos and takes an exceedingly long time, like over an hour on my Library.

The results wouldn't show you the entire highlighted text anyway, just an excerpt from each hit. But if you were looking for something specific that you'd highlighted and just didn't remember where in the resource it was, you could search for it (instead of the wildcard *) using this method.

We do need some sort of highlighting summary view, though. That would be cool, to just scroll through a resource and read only the highlighted text. Great way to review a book's main points quickly, e.g., if studying for an exam or something.

Another option would be to gather the key excerpts from a book in a Clippings file instead of using highlighting. Then you'd be able to easily peruse only the stuff you'd excerpted.
