NET Bible Notes Bug

I set the NET Bible Notes into my passage guide to come up as a commentary. It works fine except for John 1:1 where it doesn't come up even though there is an entry for that verse. Speaking of John 1:1, when I do a passage guide search my advanced prioritizations do not come down in the order I have set at all.

After prioritizing "The NET Bible First Edition Notes" I saw the same thing in Windows for John 1:1 until I clicked on the Passage Guide panel menu and chose "Delete this guide," and then it was at the top of the list. I use John 1:1 frequently to test, so it was evidently using a previously generated one. Does that work for you?

It deletes saved guides. Anytime that you have a specific scripture reference up and make any kind of changes in the guide, the L4 saves that guide (relative to your exact scripture reference). So when you use Delete this guide, L4 clears the saved guide and restores it (to the original PG if that was what was originally opened, or to the custom guide that it was originally opened from).

Jeremy, as Steve has said, L4 saves PG if they have been changed. If L4 saved a PG, L4 will use pull up the saved PG the next time you run the report for the save verses. This sounds good, but if you change the template, L4 pulls up the old PG report. Thus, it causes the user some confusion, as you have found out when you made your change. This is also true (as far as I can tell) if you have any old PG's that were produced before the illustration section became available. If you have a saved PG before adding the illustration section, L4 will use the old PG instead of producing a new report based on the new template. I have a question. How did you add the NET notes to the commentary section? It sounds like there is a resource file that has just the NET notes. I can only find these two resources: The NET Bible and The NET Bible First Edition (Noteless).
