I'm still waiting for the ability to tell Verbum/Logos that when opening a book from the home screen (blank layout), I always want it to appear on the left side. Perhaps Michael is simply more optimistic about potential changes.
Seems like the programming needed to make a panel NOT eligible for popups would be a lot easier than the programming needed to make a panel receive certain popups (which is how this has been mostly requested in the past).
This might be a novel but simple way to (mostly) accomplish something that's been requested for nearly a decade.
