Highlighting - How to..?

I have a Visual Markup style from Libronix/Logos 3 which originally displayed in Logos 4. After editing it, to change the incipid colour the new version used in place of the original, it never looked the same again. [ Is L4 equal to 3? ]

How do I recreate this style in Logos 4?

I would do this by creating two highlighting styles:

Green Glow
Yellow Box

Green Glow is defined as:

Yellow box is:

I would then apply "Green Glow" to the word "my" and "Yellow Box" to the phrase "Lord my God" resulting in:

Other users have posted that the colors Logos 4 uses are more muted than Libronix's colors. This will make an exact copy impossible in Logos 4 but as you see from Graham's post above you can get pretty close.

Thanks Graham,

I have the Glow Green and the Yellow Box set with the solid color and boarder as required. BUT the glow green doesn't stay after the Yellow box is placed over it and it cannot be added afterwards. It does show outside the yellow box though.

This must be an issue unique to my computer!

How do you remove a highlight?

Use your mouse to drag over the highlighted text, then on your keyboard press the key combination Ctrl Shift K (or click on Erase in the Highlight window).

EDIT: or if you are referring to removing a highlighting style, in the Highlight window right click on the style that you want to delete and in the pop-up menu click on Delete. (warning this permanently removes the style). Also you can only delete styles that you have created, (e.g. you cannot delete those that L4 supplies)

In 4.2a (currently in Beta), there is also a right-click context menu option to "Remove Highlighting"
