Bought a book: No Logos

I recently got an email from Logos saying there was a 50% off sale on N.T. Wright's book, "New Testament and the People of God." Out of sheer excitement I purchased the book, thinking it was a hardcopy that would be sent to my house. Immediately after purchasing it, I realized that it was a digital version of the book; and I don't even own Logos software. Is there any way I can either get the transfer canceled, or download the book to my iTouch to read without purchasing Logos software?

Logos is very good about offering refunds. Just call or email sales@logos.com, explain the situation and they'll take care of you. Note that this is the weekend, don't expect anything until Monday sometime.

Hi Devon,

As you reflect on what you want to do, be aware that Logos doesn't charge for the software, only for books. Granted, the books aren't as valuable without a collection of Bibles & other "lookup" resources, but it's still included. And Logos has a working i-phone app to allow use of most books (depending on whether Logos' license permits them to offer it) to be used locally. Since I don't own an Apple product, I don't know if iTouch is included as a supported device. Nor do I know if Logos' license for handhelds includes NT Wright's books... But others on the forums will... Hopefully, they'll pick up on this & will chime in with a better answer. Blessings!

Looking at Logos web page for "New Testament and the People of God." => http://www.logos.com/product/8778/the-new-testament-and-the-people-of-god noticed availability for iPhone (includes iPod Touch and iPad).

Logos application is free in iTunes App Store - can purchase - sync with iTunes to install on iPod Touch - launch Logos (needs internet connection) - sign in - library - tap "New Testament and the People of God." to read - have option to download tor offline use.

Unfortunately your Logos purchases are only accessible from an iOS device if you have a Logos 4 base package, or if you've purchased the minimal crossgrade. The books that are bought through the Free Book Preview program are an exception to this rule.

"As an added benefit, if you own a Logos 4 base package, the Logos Bible Software app will give you access to books from your library, allowing for a fuller and richer Bible study experience."

Suggest calling Logos - can ask if your book purchase can be unlocked for iPod Touch use or request refund.
