i am so lost what does this mean, I have unistalled and reinstalled l4 and nothing outside of reloading windows has worked....?

Yes, about 3/4 x's.
each time i went or regedit.ex_ and cleared every instance and data code that had anything to do with Logos Bible software 4....
each install was the same....it would have been as if it was the first clean install....

Could you post the Logos4crash.txt file here? Attach it using the paperclip icon in the forum post editor, and delete the "Max width" and "Max height" values before clicking Insert (those are for pictures and make it slightly more cumbersome for people to open file attachments).

How old is your computer, and what operating system are you using?
How much ram is actually left prior to loading Logos 4?

Enable permanent logging and upload logs from My docs\Logos Log Files eg. logos4.log after the crash. If there are any files in \Temp\Logos Log Files please upload those if the date corresponds to your installation date.

It looks like you will need to call Logos tech support on this one. Without a longer crash.txt document we can figure out if the problem is with Logos or perhaps your .Net installation.

This is dangerous. If you only delete some bits and not others, it might confuse the installer into thinking something's already installed when it's not.
The second screenshot you posted suggests a file not found error, which in turn suggests an install issue (I suspect with .NET). If so, the logos4setup.log is the one most likely to be of help.

true, true. ok, i'm good now i had to dig around and found the original hdd that came with this laptop. had to do some reconfig but i got logos4 running.
it turns out that it had something to do with microsoft office pro plus 2010. hmmm go'ole microsoft....

This be true.
That text file was the real mcCoy, i would think that it would have been larger, that way i would not have had to done a few hours of dignostics to get to the heart of the matter, but i did replace the hdd with the original and did an install of L4 and it went well, i then loaded pro plus 2010 and everything went bonkers, but i already had a heads up and anticipated a crashing failure........
Maybe it will serve for another.
