Any way to move my "Last Updated" data over from one computer to another?

I just installed Logos on my new computer and now all the "Last Updated" fields in my Library say "Today." I would like to copy over what I have on my other computer, which lets me see all the recent books I've bought sorted by the date I downloaded them, back as far as when I first ran DominicM's "Last Update Hack": http://community.logos.com/forums/t/27140.aspx

Is it just a matter of copying over one of the .db files? Would that be updates.db from the UpdateManager folder? Or is it catalog.db from LibraryCatalog? And will I mess other things up if I do this?

It's kept in catalog.db. You could try it by soft delete whilst offline!

What do you mean by "soft" delete? Of course if I deleted it I'd keep a copy of it somewhere (or simply rename it) -- is that what's called "soft delete"? Never heard that terminology before.

But I'm not sure that would work anyway. This was a fresh install so it should have synced everything it could have synced from the Logos servers. That's why I'm thinking I'd want to copy the file from my other computer which has the dates the way I want them -- it knows what date I downloaded them to that computer, and that's what I want to start from going forward on my new computer.

I meant delete the database to the Recycle Bin and replace it from other computer whilst offline! Quick Method 2 does it for me!

I did that and unfortunately it seems to have nuked all my collections. I know I could use Quick Method 2 and get back up and running, but even that looks like it's going to take 3+ hours to copy all the files over from my old computer. Seems like I shouldn't need to copy everything all over again, since I have all the resources already. I just downloaded them fresh with a fresh install and upgrade to 4.2a beta 6 before screwing it up by copying catalog.db over. Is there some minimal set of .db files I can copy that will get my installation on my new machine up to par with my old machine?

Save resources before uninstalling then install the same L4 version as the old machine. Perform the rest of QM #2 but move resources from their saved folder on the new machine (if they are in the same partition then it should be quick). This is a little more difficult as you have to isolate resources within the \Data folder!

OK, I've restored my new machine installation to the backup from this morning and I'm back to square one. I'm completely up to date and in sync on my new machine, except that all the "Last Updated" fields are Saturday (except for a few more recent). Now I'm still wondering if there's any way to get those Last Updated fields from my old machine without losing my collections.

If you're comfortable with SQL, load both catalog.db files into an SQL viewer, and craft a SQL statement to copy the dates from one file to the other.

I don't know SQL, though I suppose I could learn it for this. One problem is that my libraries are not identical between the two machines. There is one missing resource on my new machine, namely the NRSV Apocrypha Reading Plan which was given to us as a freebie back in January 2009: http://blog.logos.com/archives/2009/01/free_book_apocrypha_reading_plan.html. I'd worry that if the items in the database didn't match up exactly that I could mess things up royally if I went mucking around in there.

A statement like that wouldn't cause problems (if you got the statement right, of course!). I could probably craft and test such a statement, but not for at least 12 hours, as I'm about to go out!

Can you have more than one database open at the same time to be able to do this? I'm using SQLiteSpy and haven't figured out a way to do that. What tool do you use that could handle this job?
