Basic Search in Bible for search fields
I don't know if it is just my computer or if others are having the same problem as I am. When I run a basic search using the search fields for headings for footnotes it won't execute the search. The search fields appear but then disappear again when you type your seacrch word into the find box. I don't know why it behaves this way on searching Bibles for headings or words of Christ etc. Has anyone else had this problem. I am running Logos 4.2 Beta 6.

Stephen, this can be somewhat confusing, because there are actually two different Find boxes.
The one that pops up when you click to bring up the Search Fields list is only a filter for search fields themselves. If you have a resource that has lots of search fields in it that list of fields can be quite long and it can be easier to simply type a few letters of the field you're looking for, which filters out all the other names of fields that don't match what you typed.
Then you can click on the checkbox to turn on that field. However then you must click back in the Find box for the actual search, which is underneath the popup Search Fields menu. Actually, all you need to do is click anywhere outside the popup menu for it to go away, and your cursor will be back in the Search Find box, ready for you to type, and the Search Field you selected will be shown above it:
