text information questions
Hopefully, I'm asking these questions on the correct part of the forum. If not, please advise. I've just watched the video on Text Comparison. I was shown that right clicking on that, I can bring it up into a floating window to compare Bible versions.
Two questions if you will ---
1) How can or do I restore Text Comparison back to where it was before I right clicked on it
2) Is there a way to change the default colour *blue* to another colour
I'll await your replies as I gallop out for a cup of hot java !!!

I am not aware of a way to change the color. In order to put the Text Comparison window back in the orginal position right click on the tab that says "Text Comparison" and click "Dock this tab"

1) You can press Shift+F11 which will put it in a floating window. It's not quite exactly where it was before you right clicked on it, but it's resizable there and you can reposition it wherever you want by dragging the title bar.
2) The default color of what? Are you talking about the links in the Text Comparison window?
If so, no, I don't believe so. Logos takes the default text color from Windows settings, but it ignores the setting for hyperlinks. I reported this as a bug over a year ago, and so far nothing has been done about it. I'll go request a status update on that thread.

Or you can left click on the text comparison tab and hold it down and drag it where you want it. For what it's worth, in Windows 7 you can change the border of your floating window in accordance with the primary color of your desktop.

Thanks for the comebacks. Fred, I can "dock this tab" but it doesn't return to where it was originally. It goes as a tab next to the *Information.* If you've got something else up your sleeve, I'll be ready to take your advice.
Rosie, thanks for the Shift +F11 tip. This might be something though, for Logos to upgrade - to have an option to put that particular window back where it originally belong.

Agreed. Logos should remember where a tab was before it was floated, and return it to the same location when you dock it. You can of course move tabs around however you like, so you can drag it back to where you wanted it, in the meantime. You can even drag from a floating window tab directly to a position in the Layout (as long as the floating window isn't maximized, that is so you can see the destination behind it and drag to there).
