How to specify file-system location of Indexes

I have a very small primary drive (C:), and a very large secondary drive (D:)

When I install Logos, I always point to a folder on my drive; this works fine.  But the indexes are always built on my C: drive, in a folder below my user\Documents and Settings folder.

I don't have enough space on C: to contain the indexes, and I don't want them there, anyway.  How do I configure Logos to keep all of its data (books *and* indexes) on my drive?

There's no way to configure Logos to put indexes in a different location. But you can set up a soft link or junction from the folder where Logos normally puts that stuff, and have it point to a location on your drive.

For example, I have set up my Pictures folder to point to another internal drive because my primary drive is an SSD and too small for all my photo files. First I deleted the built-in Pictures folder (I had nothing in it yet). Then I opened a Command Prompt (Start > Run > cmd.exe) and used this command-line to set up Pictures as a soft link instead:

junction "c:\Users\Rosie Perera\Pictures" F:\Pictures

They key is I had to delete the folder first because junction won't work if a file/folder by that name exists already. So you'd need to move the files from Logos's index folder to the other drive first.
