NIV for the iPhone Challenge
Everything I've read in the forums says that Logos is waiting for permission from Zondervan for the NIV on their mobile app. Ironic that YouVersion.com already has it and staring this Saturday, you can even DOWNLOAD it to your smartphone for FREE!!! Zondervan must be giving some people permission for its use. Why not LOGOS???

Me too. I'll still use LOGOS for my research, but for my daily reading on my smartphone or use in church, I'll go to YouVersion and the FREE DOWNLOADED NIV. Maybe LOGOS can ask YouVersion how they got permission.

Sadly I found this too late. It seems the NIV is no longer a downloadable (for offline) bible in youversion.

Zondervan is the one to ask. You know Logos would love to provide it. The hold up is with the big Z.
