Download scheduler expected behavior? (4.2a B6)

On my desktop I turned on download scheduling to test the feature under B5. It was set to noon. When the download for B6 became available I got impatient and tried to change the time settings to get it to download earlier (moved it up to 11 AM); it didn't work.
Anyway, noon rolled around and B6 downloaded and installed perfectly. I changed my Automatically download updates settings to No. This morning I fired up Logos on my desktop and I got the popup notifying me that I had a book purchase ready to download. I clicked the notification to allow the download. Instead of immediately starting download the tray icon says that it will start downloading @ 11.
Is this expected behavior or a bug? I would expect that when the download automatically setting is no it would start downloading whenever I click it.

Beta 7 will include a bug fix that will ignore a previously-scheduled download time if Automatically Download Updates is later disabled. It will also include a "Download Now" option on the Indexer icon's context menu to override the schedule. Beta 6 allowed you to run the Update Now command to override the scheduler.

I knew that but I wanted to see what happened without over-riding the default behaviors.
