Small caps problem when doing search

I was studying Genesis 18:1 and wanted to find out where else the phrase "Lord appeared" occurred so I selected the words
right-clicked on them, chose the "search this resource" option and got the results below.
which surprised me!
I then noted that in the text of v1 small caps are used for the "ord" of "Lord" whereas in the search window normal caps are used for the whole word. I had "Match case" set from a previous search and when I turned that off I got the results I had expected.
Surely the search window should keep the same caps setting as the text to stop this happening?

I agree. Searches from Context menu and Guides/Tools should not retain settings from a previous Search. This has been reported and "fixed" on at least two occasions!

Thanks Dave
I agree that it shouldn't retain settings from a previous search but my point here was somewhat different
With the text using small caps I would have expected small caps to appear in the search string in the search window which would have resulted in a match irrespective of the "match case" settings in the search tool.
Does this distinction make sense?

The font used in the text box in Search, and probably anywhere else in the program, does not support Small Caps formatting.

Is there anything that can be done about this?
It would be ok if it didn't accept the typing of small caps - then they wouldn't end up in the search string - but for them to be copied from the biblical text and converted to full caps and cause the search to fail seems very strange!

I'm sorry I neglected to address the zero results. You'll have to disable "Match case" to see results. Out of 24 results, 18 have "Lord" in small caps.
I will run this by development to see if anything can be done so that small caps are recognized as regular caps when you want to limit the results to "Lord" with small caps (with "Match case' enabled).
