Odd juxtaposition is ENTIRELY deliberate.

Not odd at all because of when they (may) be released. I still have them both ordered for the 28th. I’m going to be spending a lot of time in Romans this year and found good reviews for Godet’s commentary on Romans so bought it last month and did a pre-pub for the Godet upgrade. Last week I asked a good friend about Godet and he said when studying Luke a couple of years ago he didn’t find Godet helpful and didn’t consider the pre-pub set.

I just took a trip to the back book shelf that has The Harvard Classics Deluxe Edition 20 volumes and glanced through them. The idea of 71 volumes, searchable, is very appealing.

If I were wealthy I’d buy everything, but I’m not wealthy, at least in financial terms, so I can’t. A quick search shows a lot of the Godet books available in PDF for free.

Harvard Classics or Godet Commentaries?  Harvard Classics. I’m going to have to cancel the Godet.

Should have mentioned that I have both available Godet titles already.

Harvard Classics.  I hardly ever use the Godet commentaries I have available in Logos.  To have the HC series accessible on my iPad would be wonderful!

thanks guys, 'tis good to know these things  I'm about to ask the same question re: the

Evangelical Exegetical Commentary.  Perhaps that one might be more of a challenge.  [8-|]
