Library Browser: Sorting by rank?
When you are in the single column mode, you can type "outline bible" and the book appears first in the list.
When you switch to multiple column mode (where you can see rank, title, subject, etc...) and you type "outline bible", the "outline bible" is no longer listed first and is lost among the other books becuase Ranking become the default sort mode.
Title should be the default sort mode to find the title more easily in this view.
Thanks,
John

Hi John,
When you're in Tiles view, resources are in Rank order, as "The Outline Bible" is ranked #1. When you switch to Details view, the default is sort by Title, which sorts them alphabetically by title. The problem I'm seeing is that I can't reorder the Rank column in Details view as in the past. If I sort by Series or other column, I can than click on Rank to puts #1 at top. I'll test this some more and report it.
Update: My mistake -- after clicking on Rank column to sort by rank, you have to scroll up to top. I missed where the scroll bar was the first time. (The title at the top when sorted alphabetically was #229, so it was way done the list.) Requested that this be changed to jump to top and select #1 resource when sorting by Rank. There's already a request in for Library to remember that configuration the next time you open Library.
2nd Update: This is by design--there is code specifically written to preserve the selected resource across sort orders. Pressing the "Home" button on the keyboard will take you to the top of the list.
