Why was I charged for a free pre-pub book?

Once i tried it, I was immediately charge. What's the problem here? Thanks!

The price shows up for $12.95 when I follow your link - maybe somebody erred in setting up the book. I would expect that customer service could help you. I do see that the blog you responded to is over two years old (April 30, 2008) - my guess is that the offer was withdrawn.

That quote comes from a blog post from April 2008! Let's just say you're a bit late to the party. [;)] It must be more than two years since that book left prepub...

However, Logos ought to remove the link from the product page. I can see how someone could be misled.

I do note that the item still references the old Blog entry that offered a free copy.[:)] Though the Blog is dated, the reference is confusing. LOGOS may want to clear up the confusion.[:$] A call to customer service will probably resolve this.
