Deon,
You might try to not run the file from within IE but first download it ('save as') to a folder on your system and then run it from there.

Hi there and thank you very much for the reply. I have downloaded the file and ran it as you have suggested. I get the same error message. I'm thinking now to boot Windows 7 in safe mode and try updating then.

Hi again.
I have downloaded it and ran from the downloaded file - no success. I have also booted Win 7 Prof in safe mode - no success.
I have now tried everything I am familiar with and will really appreciate your help. I feel like a child who got a playstation as a present but cannot get it out of the box. [:'(]
Thanx so long.

Deon, since Libronix uses IE to display stuff your security settings in it might have an effect on running this script. Open up your Internet Options and look at your security settings tab and the advanced settings. See if you can temporarily ease the restriction relating to Active X use.
If you can't figure it out call Logos tech support and have them look at your machine remotely.

Sorry to hear that, Deon. One more question: What kind of file is it that you've downloaded - is the ending .lbxupd or is it .lbxlss? If the latter, you can try to copy it into your resource-folder or open your location manager in L3 and search for the file there and add it. You then have to sync your licences. If this doesn't help, I'd recommend to call or write Customer Support, they should be able to help you out here.

In this case, you might try Kevin's suggestion first - maybe other security settings in IE will work. Good luck!
