Copy & Paste into Word Documents

Does anyone know why I get such strange formatting when I try to copy Bible verses from my ESV in Logos 4 into Microsoft Word? It works just fine when I select a paragraph, but if I select more than one paragraph or heaven forbid a poetry section, everything gets changed (including font, spacing, etc.). Any suggestions. I'm using the standard Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to do the copying and pasting.

You might want to use the Logos4 tool Copy Bible Verse as it allows you to control the formatting to some extent.

I just tried it with the following results:

If I copy one paragraph (Acts 13:13-16) the spacing is fine; the verse numbers are bolded and the default font I use in Word (Calibri) is displayed.

If I copy multiple paragraphs (Acts 13:13-33) The spacing is fine; the verse numbers are bolded but header font changes to Arial and the body changes to Times New Roman

If I use Smart Tags to insert the same multiple paragraphs the verse numbers are no longer bolded and I lose paragraph indentation. The font for all of the text is the Word default (Calibri)

I'm not sure why the differences occur. Maybe it would be a good idea to add the word "BUG" to the beginning of the title of this thread so Logos will catch it.

EDIT: I went to CBV and changed the format to "Fully Formatted" and copied Acts 13:13-33 into Word. It worked as advertised. Then I inserted the same text with SmartTags again and it appears the SmartTag option takes its formatting cues from CBV. I did not relaize that until now.
