When I clicked rtf, the save dialog appeared which I filled. L4 began to spin its wheels (that's the pizza), and then crashed. The saved document is 0kb and empty.

Thanks Jack. Development is aware of the blank text when exporting to RTF or other formats (except PDF) or sending to Word. We'll review your crash logs.
