Footnotes in Facebook?? Awesome!!

This morning I was reading my devotions and sometimes I like to share some interesting points into my Facebook status for my church & other "friends" to spur them into spending time in God's word.

I was greatly surprised when I copied a quote from MacArthur's devotional into my Facebook status and it put a return and the source of my quote as well. I don't remember Logos ever doing that before... except in Word or Pages.

This is great!! When did this come about? Any idea when this will happen in Mac's Mail program as well?

The footnotes are copied to the clipboard once you're quote equals at least 10 words or more. It is encoded in such a way that a plain text box will not receive it most of the time (I've found exceptions) but a box that understands HTML parsed pasted text will know what to do with it.

AFAIK it's been in L4 all along, though I have no idea if it's new to MAC's L4 or not.

That's very useful to know! So if you're copying a very short quote, it would be better to make it longer, and then delete some after pasting. I'll try to remember that!

Yup, I work around it that way all the time.
