Are the Logos brand Calvin Commentaries and the Galaxie branded alternative of equal quality?

    I can't say for sure, but Calvin is Calvin and doesn't change -- only the presentation changes (and the accuracy with which it is reproduced).  Knowing how Galaxy has laid out other books such as Wallace's Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics and the theological journals, I would imagine that the layout would be rather different.  You might also find some difference in the degree of tagging other references though most of these in Calvin would probably be scripture, and once again scripture is scripture.
