Greetings all,

I have a rather odd problem and just noticed it on my desktop version of Logos 4. Running a number of extended monitors, this is where I do my main study, so I never noticed this before.

On a long plane ride, for the first time I realized no matter which English version I bring up, (on the iPhone app of all things), the text displays single and double letters, symbols, (which usually mean OT and NT Cross-References) and an uppercase N when there is a variant. They are plentiful throughout the passages.

I have tried everything I know, (since this cross reference is a handy feature), and gives you the choice to “Jump to reference” or just read what fits on the iPhone screen. Aside from saving what you're reading as a bunch of LINKS, if you want to “Jump to reference” anyone who has used the iPhone knows how hard it is to get back to what you were readin, if you Jupm to reference. An  example which I have attached with screen shots is: Jn 3 (Before the word "that" on the iPhone is a letter, which when clicked, pops up John 11:4. Very helpful in learning from a discussion I was watching last night.

So, any help with what I am doing wrong, so I can add a simple RefTag feature available in Logos to English bibles not just on the iPohoine and web.

One more things I should mention, it looks slightly different, but words the same on the Web, go to http://biblia.com/ and even without a Logos account, default English version is the ESV and the letters are there which means it is thus Tagged. If I open the same text in Logos on my desktop, the letters (or automated cross references) are gone.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

NOTE: Although I seriously doubt this would have an effect, who knows with Win 7. My Machine is self-built, I'm on Win 7 Pro, run VM Ware and various ERP Apps, the hardware is an i7, 98X Motherboard, 24 Gb of RAM, 2 TrHD, Index partitioned (Tried it both partitioned and not, same thing).

Thank you.

I'm not sure I understand everything you're asking, but this part is easy. On your desktop you have "Show Bible Text only" enabled, which switches off all the cross references among other things. To turn this on/off, use the "3 circles" icon in your Bible. If you want to turn it on/off in all your Bibles, use the same icon, but then right-click on the "Bible text only" label.

    Hi Mark,

Thank you, but if you mean by the "the circle" the Visual filters, they have always been checked. I should have added that to my question. Your answer is exaxtly what has me baffled, since that was my first guess. I took a screen shot, please see the attachement so I can make certain we're on the same page. I also tried checking and upchecking the filters in multiple combinations.

    Thank you.
