Odd message when installing RC1

1. I was putting hyperlinks from Logos into a Microsoft 2007 Word document when the update arrived and started to install.

2. It asked me to close Logos, which I did.

3. During the install only Word was running.

4. Got a message that it was unable to proceed since Logos was still running.

5. I closed the Word document and the install proceeded

6. Logos restarted itself.

This is because you have Logos' smart tags enabled in Word. It's a small piece of Logos that runs to be able to recognize Bible references and then be able to insert them/open Logos to view them.

I had forgotten I had smart tags enabled. But would have thought that since Logos was shutting down that it would shut down its other little bits and pieces as well.

I would suggest, at a minimum, that the message be changed to suggest shutting down Word or anything else has similar bits of Logos code running. I wonder if Proclaim will create a similar issue. Some other programs suggest shutting down all Microsoft applications in their update messages.

Better yet, have Logos initiated the shutdown of Word etc.
